Rosemary, Alberta
Twp 20-22, Rge 14-16 W4M
LTA owns and operates a 100% working interest in a mature, low-decline natural gas asset located in the Rosemary area of southeastern Alberta. The asset includes more than 400 producing natural gas wells, five gas boosting stations, and a central compressor and power generation facility.
Current net production from the asset is approximately 5.6 MMcf/d of natural gas, equivalent to approximately 950 BOE/d. Production is primarily sourced from the Milk River and Medicine Hat formations, which are characterized by dry natural gas production with minimal associated liquids. The extensive infrastructure footprint and established gathering system provide operational stability and support continued production optimization opportunities.
8-36-20-16W4 Compressor and Power Generation Facility - 100% WIO
LTA owns and operates a 100% working interest in the compressor and power generation facility located at 8-36-20-16W4M. The facility serves as a key component of the Rosemary operating area and includes natural gas compression infrastructure as well as grid-connected power generation assets.
The site is equipped with two 2.05 MW natural gas-fired generators, providing a total installed generation capacity of approximately 4.1 MW. The facility is connected directly to the Alberta electrical grid and operates as a peaking power plant, with an approved export capability of 4.5 MW.
The facility provides strategic optionality through the monetization of locally produced natural gas into electricity and offers exposure to Alberta's power market, where periods of elevated pool pricing can create attractive incremental cash flow opportunities.
